Position: It is located in the south of Guangdong Province, China (east longitude 113.46' to 114.37' , north latitude 22.27' to 22.52'). It faces Hong Kong in the south across Shenzhen River. It only takes 45 minutes' ride to get from the downtown to Hong Kong Island.
Area: Total area of Shenzhen is 1948.69 square kilometers. The area of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone is 391.71 square kiloveters.
